Hope Erickson, North Dakota native, is a professional saxophonist, chamber musician, and educator in Chattanooga, TN. She is the director of the Chattanooga Saxophone Project, a saxophone ensemble that performs everything from traditional chamber music to movie soundtracks. She is also a saxophonist with Premier Jazz Orchestra.

Erickson has performed as a soloist in the United States and Asia. She won the Southern Oregon University Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition in March 2015. She has presented at the Oregon Music Educators Association (OMEA), Southern Oregon Arts and Research (SOAR), North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) conferences, and the First Asian Saxophone Congress.

Since moving to Chattanooga in 2017, Erickson has built and maintained an active private studio with students and multiple chamber groups that compete and perform in the East Tennessee and North Georgia area.

Hope Erickson received her BA in Saxophone Performance from Southern Oregon University, under the instruction of Dr. Rhett Bender.
